Cats Nail Salon in Williamsburg is horrible! On 10/26, I went in for a simple eyebrow and chin wax. It was painful and I mentioned so, but it was passed off as "par for the course" and dismissed. Within 30 minutes after, my face felt like it was on fire and my eyebrows and chin got dark red. It was then that I realized I had been burned. I went to my dermatologist, who confirmed that I had sustained burns. Fortunately, the burns were not considered permanent. The next day, I went to inform them of my injuries. The manager was nasty. The so-called esthetician tried to put Vaseline and then Neosporin on my face! After declining, I had to ask for a refund. Twice I was offered less than what I paid. Finally, after my insisting, I received the full amount I paid in refund, but no apology or amends were given. And, even though I maintained my composure and remained courteous and professional, I was brushed off and treated in a very unprofessional manner. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! They burn and do not care about their customers!
