Eyeglass Direct Comn in Bergen Beach is the WORST eyeglass company with very poor customer service. The guy (manager) was very rude, brash and unhelpful. All I asked was to have my lenses replaced as they are falling to pieces and he said that I was just trying to get free product and that I should not use their company. And I won't...that's for sure.

Ordered glasses last year. Had to send them back to have arms lengthened. Had to re-order them a year later as I broke my last pair. When I called, woman said she remembered my order & would make arms long enough. Not - got them 2 weeks later with short arms & a SCRATCH! Sent them back - took 2 weeks & all they fixed was the scratch. Called & said I now wanted my money back. They said no - guy (husband) got on phone & accused me of being a liar & told me he would only exchange them for a different pair. DON'T order from this work out of their bedroom couple - they only sell you $10 glasses with NO customer service. Go to GO-Opticals instead. Its where I ordered a different pair and have no problems so far with contacting customer service. (They are not out of their Brooklyn apt either) Eyeglass direct is some NY thug scum bag who will try to intimidate you & then hang up on you. I have a complaint filed with BBB. When I told him this, he said "go f*** yourself". Nice!
